Tonight We started some seeds

Hopefully by the time we get our last frost some of theses veggies will be ready to go.

Awakening

Here are a few pictures of some life starting to reappear in the garden.

Some of my favorite Roses

I have grown Roses for many many years, some do wonderful, others have Powdery Mildew, Black Spot, Rust, Downey Mildew and Canker are the major players. As well as Japanese Beetles and Aphids, I have tried all kinds of treatments: sprays, powders, removal of the infected leaves. This year I am trying some tonics that I read about in Jerry Baker's book Terrific Tonics, and we will see how that goes. Plus now we are only buying Disease Resistant Roses, I am leaning toward Shrub Roses.

Spring has sprung!

The Peach Tree is starting to bloom now, sure hope we don't have a heavy frost before it gets done. We were out cleaning up the garden today. I happened to see this first bloom and had to take a picture of it.

Waiting for spring

A few pictures of some of our plants hanging on waiting to go back out side. We try to bring all our containers inside each fall. Most make it till spring, some do not.

We Have plants all over the house that we brought in last fall. Some do really good in the basement, last year modified one of our spare bedrooms into a plant room and the plants there are doing better than expected.
